Remote Rotator for Aerial Silks Apparatus
The purpose of this device is to control the rotation of arial acrobatic equipment. This remote controlled devices is built around a climbing rated swivel using various 3d printed parts, motors, gears, batteries, and electronics. The device was engineered to handle a certain rotational moment of inertia, while maintain a desired speed. The features of this device include bi-directional speed control, cruise control, custom recording and playback, and engage/disengage of a clutch that will allow the apparatus to free spin. The whole assembly was design in Solidworks, 3d printed, assembled, and soldered together. (Personal)
